Pulse of Europe & Tea Party, Sunday 7th May from 2 – 4 pm
Bath is very proud that we were the first UK city to host Pulse of Europe. Hundreds of people have experienced our two successful Pulse of Europe events in solidarity with our European neighbours. We are passionate about keeping our country in the EU.
“Don’t it always seem to go
That you don’t know what you’ve got
Till it’s gone
They paved paradise
And put up a parking lot.” – from “Big Yellow Taxi”
Joni Mitchell’s lyrics apply to how we feel about Brexit. We will not let Theresa May’s government turn our beloved Great Britain into a wasteland. Be part of the Europe-wide movement celebrating Europe’s values. At our next Pulse of Europe we will meet outside Bath Abbey for short speeches, then march to Queen’s Square and conclude by enjoying a quintessential British tea party with like-minded people determined to stop Brexit. Bring your family, friends, neighbours and colleagues. And bring Union Jacks and EU flags, positive placards, props, cakes, lemonade and thermos flasks of tea.
