F-Rated: “Who Runs the World?”, Bath Festival, Sunday, 20th May, 12:15 – 1:15 pm, Komedia

For centuries, the answer has been men: and white, middle-class, heterosexual men to boot. But as that starts to change, our eminent panel asks how women can make their voices heard and bring about change – for everyone – from the Houses of Parliament to the grassroots.

This all-star politics panel will discuss how women are treated in Westminster, Whitehall and far beyond. Guests include MPs Rachel Reeves (Labour), Jess Phillips (Labour), Thangam Debonnaire (Labour) and Jo Swinson (Lib Dem); chaired by journalist Melissa Benn. Tickets are £10 (£9). Book yours via Eventbrite. The event takes place at Komedia, 22-23 Westgate Street, Bath, BA1 1EP.
