
The dynamic and inspiring Dr Mike Galsworthy is coming to Bradford-on-Avon! He is a friend of Bath for Europe, one of the most visible Remain campaigners and a driving force behind Scientists for EU and Healthier in EU. Mike will share the stage with Stuart Brown, who has worked extensively with the European Union.
This evening is for anyone who is concerned about what’s happening with Brexit. Mike and Stuart will speak and then field questions about the NHS, free trade agreements and the Peoples Vote.
Admission is free but you do need to register on Eventbrite.
Doors will open at 7 pm for a 7:30 pm start.

About the speakers:
Dr Mike Galsworthy is co-founder of the Scientists for EU and Healthier in EU campaigns, two of the biggest pro-EU groups in the country, that are also working alongside and sharing office space with Open Britain, the European Movement and In Facts amongst others. He will discuss UK Science, the NHS, EU nurses, medicines and cross-border care, and how Brexit will affect these areas. Mike will also discuss how the democratic process can be underwritten at the end by a “Peoples Vote”.
Stuart Brown has extensive experience working with the European Union. Amongst his many roles, Stuart has helped accession countries align environmental policies with the EU, assisted in implementing EU regional programmes, EU High Level Policy Adviser to the Minister of Environment of the Republic of Moldova. Preparing and planning the implementation of provisions relating to trade and sustainable development in – The Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Agreement between the EU and Moldova, – the EU Vietnam Free Trade Agreement.
