Bath & North East Somerset Council, in association with Wera Hobhouse MP, Bath for Europe and other local community groups, invite you to our online European Citizens’ Fair: Information & Support. Content will include:
- A recorded talk and Q&A session by lawyer Christopher Desira of Seraphus. Christopher will offer the latest expert advice on European citizens’ rights and applying for Settled Status
- Short recorded talks by B&NES Council Leader Cllr Dine Romero; Bath MP Wera Hobhouse; Reverend Roger Driver; Les Redwood, Chief Executive of Citizens Advice; Véronique Martin of the In Limbo Project
Overview of the EU Settlement Scheme
EU citizens must be resident in the UK by 31 December 2020 to apply to the EU Settlement Scheme. Those who are resident before this date have until 30 June 2021 to apply to the EU Settlement Scheme.
If you’re an EU, EEA or Swiss citizen, you and your EU or non-EU family members can apply to the EU Settlement Scheme to continue living in the UK after 30 June 2021.

B&NES Council offers an EU digital document verification service. To book an appointment, please call 01225 477234 between 09:30 – 16:00, Monday to Friday. The cost of the EU Settlement Document Verification Service is £14.00, payable at the time of booking.
