Bath for Europe is delighted to welcome Dr Milena Romano, Lecturer in European Politics from the University of Bath, who will talk about some of the most interesting debates in Europe today, from Brexit to Ukraine, protests to human rights, elections to energy.
Dr Romano’s research interests include European integration and foreign policy, as well as gender, feminism, protest movements and how politics and education can affect everyday life. Milena has a PhD in Politics, Languages and International Studies (with a specific focus on European Politics) from the University of Bath, analysing the space carved out by the European Union (EU) in its projection as an international actor that, among its aims, considers the resolution of conflicts in its neighbourhood as a very important portion of its foreign policy. She also holds a MA and a BA from University of Naples L’Orientale, Italy. She provides workshops for Y11 and Y12 students to discuss current topics.
