One year on from the referendum, Bath for Europe held a well-attended and very visible rally to celebrate a year of resistance on Saturday 24th June. Supporters turned out in force in central Bath to mark the occasion and to send a clear message to the government: Brexit is a catastrophe which must be stopped. Starting from The Guildhall, the group moved to Orange Grove for short speeches and singing followed by a march.

Britain for Europe coordinated a national day of action to mark this anniversary; Bath for Europe was one of 40 local groups holding rallies across the UK this weekend to send a clear message to all political parties that support for remaining a full member of the EU remains stronger than ever. More and more voices from all corners of our society are speaking out daily against Brexit. Many European leaders have said it is not too late for us to reject Brexit and remain in the EU. Thank you to everyone who turned out today to show that Bath for Europe will continue to fight Brexit. Join our Pulse of Europe on Sunday, 2nd July at 2 pm at Bath Abbey Churchyard.
