Pulse of Europe & Summer Fete, Sunday 2nd July, 2 – 4 pm

Our featured speakers will be Bath’s new MP Wera Hobhouse, Hendrik Bebber who is the director of a Bath-based NGO and university student Alex Jensen.

Stand up and be counted this Sunday at our monthly Pulse of Europe gathering, our first since the general election. Every day our shaky government brings forth outrageous new plans unworthy of our country and our people. Allying with the dastardly DUP? ID cards for EU citizens resident in this country? Let’s put an end to this descent into insanity! The door to Europe remains open.

We will meet at 2 pm at Abbey Churchyard for short speeches and music. Then we will march through town to Queen Square for our Summer Fete for food, drink, games, fun and good company. What better way to spend a Sunday afternoon than to join with like-minded folks and show that Bath and its surrounding areas are fighting Brexit every step of the way! Wear your Bath for Europe t-shirt, your Bath Beret, bring flags and appropriate placards and lots of good cheer! Bring your family, friends, neighbours and colleagues. Bring picnic food and drink to share. You can drop it at Queen Square before we meet at the Abbey at 2 pm. The more, the merrier! This is one Remain City that will not give up. We are building our presence in these tumultuous times. Together let’s banish Brexit!
