“Brexit – A Comedy of Errors” lifts spirits

Laughter is therapeutic. For those of us fighting Brexit, last night’s evening of excellent comedy made a welcome break from the ongoing debacle we are witnessing. The fully packed house of Bath for Europe supporters, friends and fans of all ages had a rollicking time at the Widcombe Social Club.

Accomplished headliner Viv Groskop delivered a gutsy, intelligent monologue which linked her family tree, growing up in Somerset, learning languages, the NHS and Brexit. In our deeply divided nation, soon the only thing uniting us will be John Lewis.

Viv was supported by a line-up of up-and-coming talent: MC Fitz, Jessie Nixon, Morgan Rees and Alex Mahoney. Each brought their own unique brand of comedy to the mix.

Big thanks our events team for putting together this brilliant evening and to Nick Steel and Bath Comedy for supplying the acts!
